This sleigh is called Ginger Deliveries. It holds a special place in Christmas history. Ginger Deliveries was never a part of Santa’s travel activities, but it is one of Santa’s oldest and most unique liveries. While details about the creator of this piece remain a mystery, legend has it that when Santa was a boy this unique gingerbread sleigh was designed as a centerpiece for the table on Christmas day. It was moved from the kitchen to the main dining room gingerly, there the sugar iced and jewel crusted confection sat glittering. The young Santa studied and admired it for days lovingly. The elaborately detailed piece made a spectacular display. Santa decided to share the sleigh with an open house for the holidays. Lines formed for miles to see Ginger Deliveries. For weeks the attention was unwavering. Everyone who saw it declared it was amazing. Then on Christmas eve morning the sleigh was replaced by a large nativity. It was breathtaking beautiful and heavenly. Santa’s smiling face was glowing as he winked and there was no question, it was a silent reminder and gave pause for reflection. Santa’s Christmas present was this lesson. It was the start of a new Christmas tradition. Santa’s annual open house always ends with this Christmas gift and blessing.

Returns and Exchanges

Thank you for shopping at Smith’s!  

We are happy to offer an exchange or issue store credit for any gift purchased from us within 14 days of the purchase date. Store credit expires 12 months from the date issued. In the event the item shows signs of wear, damage, or is resized in any way, said item will not be accepted for return.  

Merchandise offered at a special discounted sales price and special order items are Final Sale and cannot be exchanged or issued store credit.  Items that are not in stock at the time of order are considered Special Orders and may not be returned or canceled once the order is placed with the manufacturer.   • Email us at info@smithsofdublin.com and explain the reason for the return.
  • Ship your return to the following address.

  • Make sure items are in their original product boxes.
  • The return package must be postmarked within 14 business days of receipt, after this time the return becomes void.
  • Make sure to choose a shipping method that has a tracking system. If you have any questions about our return policy, please contact us at 478-272-5112.

Upon receipt of your package, we will inspect the merchandise and email you with your credit or exchange update.

Shipping Information

At Smith’s, we make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible, most items ship within 24 hours. We ship packages Monday through Friday and do not ship on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) or on national holidays.

In order to ship, we require a physical address, either resident or business. We are not liable if given an undeliverable address and items get returned. If items are returned, Smith’s will refund items less shipping. 

Processing 

Orders are shipped within three business days of your order date. We do our best to keep our items in stock at all times, but sometimes items will be on backorder. In those cases, we will wait to ship all of your items together. You may request multiple shipments for an additional fee.

Transit Times

You have the choice of two different shipping methods, each with different transit times, please see below for estimated transit time. These times are in addition to the processing time. 

  • UPS Ground Delivery. Please allow 3-5 business days
  • UPS Expedited Shipping. We offer expedited shipping, but orders must be received by 12 p.m. Eastern to be processed the same day. If received after 12 pm Eastern, we will ship the next business day.
